Op zaterdag 10 augustus 2024 is het weer de beurt aan Jack van Oers om dit programma samen te stellen en te presenteren. Jack heeft gekozen voor de nummer 1 hits uit de hitparade van het Canadese muziekblad RPM.
Tussen 16:00 en 19:00 uur hoor je de krakers weer voorbijkomen. Van The Supremes tot Herman’s Hermits en van Sonny & Cher tot Jay & The Americans.
De muziek wordt omlijst door informatie over dat grote land Canada. Een land met prachtige natuur, nationale parken, wereldsteden maar vooral veel ruimte. Ook in Canada moesten uiteindelijk de indianen het onderspit delven. De Engelsen en de Fransen streden eeuwenlang tegen elkaar. De Engelsen waren het sterkst maar de Fransen zouden toch een gedeelte behouden. Canada is nog steeds tweetalig.
